"Dr. Shin is a Restorative Dentist. She holds BA in Biology and International Global Studies from Brandeis University and received her DMD in Dentistry from Boston University Goldham School of Dentistry. Dr. Shin brings a solid clinical background to the practice, and she is well skilled in all the traditional facets of dentistry as well as the newer technologies. Dr. Shin is a second generation dentist in her family along with her brother. Originally from South Korea, Dr. Shin moved to the United States in her teens. After obtaining her degrees in MA, she started her professional career in Rhode Island, where she met her now husband. They moved back to Massachusetts in 2022, where she considers her true home. Dr. Shin's dedication to serving others is evident through her involvement in various mission teams. She has provided free dental care to underserved communities in Nicaragua and Haiti, and has also contributed to Mission of Mercy in Rhode Island, where she helped deliver essential dental services to those in need. Her commitment to global and local humanitarian work highlights her passion for improving access to healthcare for all. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, supporting local businesses and is trying desperately to pick up golfing."
